| ED JOHNSON, SON OF PATRONS SIR JOHN AND LADY JEAN JOHNSON, RAN 150 MILES ACROSS THE SAHARA DESERT IN MARCH THIS YEAR

| On 22 March 2007, Ed set off on the gruelling Marathon des Sables in Morocco. The race took place over 6 days and 150 miles, with temperatures that soared to 50 degrees.
