 In May this year, we launched a £250,000 appeal to raise the funds we needed to be in a position to buy our own premises. Thanks to the wonderful response so far, we have been able to pay the deposit and raise a £400,000 loan to buy the former Giffard Newton boot factory in Chesham.
Now we urgently need to widen the appeal to refurbish the new premises - at a cost of around £60,000 - and to repay the loan as soon as possible, so we can return to fundraising to support our vital ongoing work in Africa.
