Workaid container 'ISAIAH', destined for Uganda, left our container site in Little Chalfont on Wednesday 4th April. This was the second container to be sent to Africa in 2007.

Container 'ISAIAH' had on board a large quantity of refurbished second-hand tools and equipment, namely, 431 Kits, packed into 644 boxes, whose combined weight is 9,371 Kg!! In all, 20 worthwhile self-help vocational projects will be the beneficiaries.

From here container 'ISAIAH' travelled overland for its onward journey to Workaid's partner, Interservice, in Kampala, into the safe hands of Fr Tony Rweza and Fr Pontian Wasswa.
It has now arrived in Kampala and is awaiting customs clearance. Following clearance the boxes will be collected from the 20 projects.

The vessel which carried 'ISAIAH', the 'MAERSK STRALSUND', left from Felixstowe docks, in Essex, on Saturday 7th April and arrived at the port of Mombasa, Kenya on the 2nd May 2007.
