How to help WORKAID

In addition to the need to raise sufficient income to cover the cost of our workshop, WORKAID must continue to find the funds to transport the refurbished tools and equipment to the projects we support. Regular giving, one-off donations and legacies are vital in enabling us to ensure that tools and equipment reach those who need them most.

There are 3 ways YOU can help:

1.    Make a financial donation.

2.    Donate Tools

3.    Donate time and volunteer

Make a Financial Donation

Become a WORKAID FRIEND

Just £5 per month for a year enables us to send a sewing machine, 2 haberdashery kits and cover the cost  of shipping to a vocational training centre in Africa.

If you would like to become a  WORKAID FRIEND please complete the STANDING ORDER  mandate which can be downloaded from HERE. This needs to be sent to WORKAID to forward to your bank. Thank you.

Make WORKAID your nominated charity

Donate Tools

By donating your unwanted tools and equipment you really can change lives as well as having a positive impact on the environment. Every year over 80 tonnes of tools are saved from landfill, refurbished and sent to projects working with some of the most vulnerable members of society.  Click here for the current list of tools we need.

Volunteer

We always welcome new volunteers to join our dedicated and friendly team at the WORKAID workshop in Buckinghamshire and to become local collectors around the country. There are many opportunities available both in refurbishment and administration and full training is provided for all members of our team. Volunteering is a great way to make a positive difference in your local community and overseas and to make new friends.
