Container 'ANDREW' is carrying a large quantity of refurbished tools and equipment, which have been lovingly refurbished by our dedicated and loyal volunteers at our new workshop in Chesham. On board are 355 kits, packed into 671 boxes, whose combined weight is 9.5 tons!! In all, 20 worthwhile vocational training projects and self-help projects will be the beneficiaries thus helping 1000 disadvantaged people to escape the cycle of poverty.
 
The vessel carrying 'ANDREW', the 'MSC MAERSK STOCKHOLM' left Felixstowe docks on Tuesday August 18th and is expected to arrive at the port of Mombasa on the 11th September. From this port the container will travel overland to Workaid's partner, the Catholic Diocese of Kisii, into the safe hands of our Workaid partner, Christopher Otsinde. It is likely to be sometime later in the year before the container actually arrives in Kisii for there are often long delays en route.
